This blog series “Around Town” will showcase some of the great features of Byron Center. The first is a great locally owned and operated restaurant called Monelli’s.
Monelli’s was started by a group of Italian brothers. It started out as a small pizza and sub eatery on 84th street and Byron Center Avenue. After finding great acclaim for their amazing pasta and pizza dishes, they expanded and opened their larger facility, Monelli’s Sports Bar & Grill, on Byron Center Avenue and Gezon across from the new Metro Hospital.
If you enjoy quality Italian food at affordable prices, this is the place for you! Authentic as it gets, Monelli’s offers something for everyone! An amazing pasta, salad, and pizza lunch buffet is perfect even for the midday business meal. Perfect pizzas are great for a friday evening at the park. These Italians even know how to make a mean burrito!
