The Byron Township Recreation Center built in 2009 opened to a welcoming community ready to use its facilities. For those with an active lifestyle or those wanting quality family activities, this could be one of the highlights of Byron Center. Over the next few blogs, we will highlight different aspects of the Community Recreation Center. For the first posting will highlight the different parts the building has to offer.
The Rec Center offers an indoor walking track, weight machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, and more! A full size gym can accommodate basketball, volleyball, and other indoor training athletics. Two lounge areas (equipped with Wi-Fi) encourage family members to come and do homework, rest, read, or play games as other family members finish their activities. e the lobby. To top it off, there is a 2500 square foot space that can be divided into three sections. These classrooms can be used for rental, special events, enrichment classes, or smaller activities.
