Kent Harvest Trails

West Michigan has all sorts of Hidden Gems to enjoy.  While the change in seasons can be dramatic and difficult at times, I always anxiously await (along with many others) the arrival of fall.  Crisp cool air brings out the hot apple cider and fresh homemade doughnuts along with wagon hay rides, corn mazes, and the picking of the perfect pumpkin.  If you are looking for a fun outing, or a series of outings you need to check out the Kent Harvest Trail.  A group of 22 local farms have teamed together to advertise their blissful fall events and features.  22 different experiences with apple orchards to roam, animals to pet, and scarecrows to stuff.  Not to mention the sweet smells of all that fal bring.  So check out the 2011 list of Kent Harvest Trails participants for all the details.

Just want to get a peek at the delicious goodness check out their homepage for www.kentharvesttrails.org if you can’t wait until opening day on September 18.  The trail runs through October 30th.
