Rounding out the floor plan style series, we will define what a typical town home style floor plan looks like. Often, town home is confused with the term condo; in many parts of the country, a ‘town home’, is a single family home that is attached to other single family homes. In this situation there is typically no home owners association. While many town home style floor plans are condominiums, the town home is a style of home while condominium defines type of ownership. A town home can also be refered to as a 2 story style floor plan.
A town home floor plan is typically a 2-level home with the main living space and kitchen on the main floor, bedrooms upstairs, and often a lower level with additional living and bedroom areas.
At Sierrafield, we have one town home style floor plan. The Acacia boasts immense ceilings open to the upstairs in the living room, a large kitchen, main floor half bath, and a grand master suite upstairs. The laundry is located upstairs between the two bedrooms. The Acacia allows for a simple lifestyle with no worries of outdoor maintenance, but with plenty of space for an entire family.
